"What has been the nugget out of all of this is that so many companies are finding out about each other not realizing that both are here in Oklahoma."A case in point, Solomon said, is a service company that had been purchasing components in Colorado until learning it could buy from a machining company in Broken Arrow, a change that reduced transportation, marketing and other costs. The event also has an educational component each day, and Solomon said expo organizers work with universities to promote opportunities迷你倉in the oil and gas industry. In addition to engineering and geology, Solomon said energy companies need people in such areas as marketing, sales, management and welding. The event will be held in the River Spirit Expo Center."The Tulsa Driller out front speaks to the great heritage that is alive and well," Solomon said. "Though many have moved to Texas, there are a lot of us still here. We now have wonderful companies with headquarters in Oklahoma City and Tulsa."Solomon is expected to make an announcement Tuesday morning on future plans for the expo.Tulsa Pipeline Expo is a not-for-profit organization.
